April 24, 2006 Seattle WA – Two European-based Raytheon Hawker 800XPs have been transformed
to Performance Enhanced 800XP2’s with Aviation Partners, Inc. patented* Blended Winglet
Technology. And, with European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certification of Hawker Blended
Winglets, achieved in 2005, Hawker 800 and 800XP operators in Europe can look forward to dramatic
performance, fuel savings and mission capability benefits in 2006.
“Both of our European Hawker operators, one based in Italy and the other in the UK, have been flying a lot and are very pleased with their Performance Enhanced aircraft,” says Aviation Partners, Inc. Upgrading your Hawker 800 or 800XP to an 800SP or 800XP2 ($425,000 installed) translates into fuel savings of up to 7.3%, a range boost of up to 180 nm, faster time to climb, 2000 foot higher initial cruise altitude and cruise speed increases of up to 18 kts. Worldwide, over 60 orders have been received to date for Hawker Blended Winglet Performance Upgrades.
